We took Amtrak to Sacramento a few weeks ago and had a great time. We visited the State Capitol, Old Sacramento, and had a couple of great meals along with viewing the beautiful tree line streets. We had visited Old Sacramento a couple of times in the past and was surprised to see on this visit many places were closed.
We enjoyed breakfast at the Fox and Goose and of course I was delighted to check out the LYS next door, Rumpelstiltskin's .
I purchased donegal tweed homespun, a beautiful green tweed that was made in Republic of Ireland. Hoping to finish a scarf before the cold weather arrives. A great trip!
