Keeping Santa's head warm.
Knit faster, knit faster, it is almost Christmas, so much to do yet and so much sickness floating in the air making it difficult to enjoy the season.
The up side, have accomplished a lot in the last five weeks so all is looking good.

I was in my favorite LYS ABCs of Creative Pursuits the other day and Vicki was spinning with a drop spindle and gave me a lesson. I bought what I needed to get started and here is a photo of my effort to spin. I think I will love it but I will need to be patient and practice practice practice!
I finished a pair of fingerless gloves and a scarf a couple of weeks ago. I am finishing up another pair of fingerless gloves this evening. I have a shawl and another white scarf on the needles. Hoping to move along to finish few more things before Christmas.

A few summer photos. The first three were taken at Yosemite, the elk at the Elk Reserve near us, and the butterfly in our patio.

It has been way to long since I've posted. There have been many projects since the last post and several mini vacations that allowed me to visit new yarn shops. Here we are with October ending and I have too many projects on the needles and my mind full of ideas for Christmas.
Here are a few I am working on.

12 March 2011

I started this Multnomah Shawl last night using DropSpindle Superwash Fingering and using size 10 needles.
The green socks were part of my daughter's birthday present. I used Cascade Sock Yarn and use the PomPom Peds pattern. The yellow and blue potholders were also part of her birthday .
